She was the character Karen Walker in the NBC comedy Will & Grace (1998)-2006, 2017 - 2020). For this role she was nominated for eight Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Supporting actress in a Comedy Series. In 2000 and 2006, she was awarded twice. As a result of her performance, she was also nominated and won numerous Awards. Mullally's early acting roles included a McDonald's commercial with John Goodman. Mullally made her debut on The Ellen Burstyn Show, a series that aired in 1986. The shows she guest-starred on were Frasier, Seinfeld, Wings Ned and Stacey Mad About You Caroline in the City 3rd Rock from the Sun and just shoot Me! She played the main character in an episode from the fifth season of Murder She Wrote, Coal Miner's Murder. In 2012, she said that she was going through panic mode because I had been without a regular job for so long. Then, one day, I received an email from my agent advising me that I had been offered a part as a guest, and the show would be paying me $5,000. As I testified, and was crying. I was a former protegee of Jessica Fletcher. It was one of my most memorable moments I've ever recorded. In 2003, following her previously wed with Michael A. Katcher (from 1992 to 1996), she wed Nick Offerman. In 2015, Mullally played Grandma Linda's role in Hotel Transylvania 2. Mullally is the son in Los Angeles the California home of Martha Mullally-Jr. and Carter Mullally Jr. a Paramount Pictures contract actor from the 1950s. Mullally was just six years old when she moved out of Los Angeles and moved and moved to Oklahoma City. Her father is an Oklahoma native. Mullally is English Irish with Scandinavian roots. When she was six, she studied ballet and performed at Oklahoma City Ballet.
