Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico was born to an adored family of musicians. Growing up, she listened to many classical music and traditional Boleros. Also, she listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves tangos and opera, along with any dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom, she started more serious training in singing at 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a young student and professional, she performed with many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. When she moved in the United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to southern California. She's a frequent solo performer for private events and parties, performing classical Latin American Music. As a teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in various community-based projects because of her love and enthusiasm for music. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
